If I have learned anything as a mom of two boys 4 and 2, it is that we all thrive better when on a routine. I hat the word schedule, and my best friend seriously makes fun of me for that, but I can’t adhere to time constrictions. If breakfast takes longer because a crazy cereal fight broke out and I have 15 minutes extra of clean up that would throw the whole day off, which in turn, would drive me insane. So I have a loose routine that we all function well off of.
I also have a chore list, menu and a printable of all those things just to keep us all on track.

Things just changed because we are in summer mode, but so did our routine. Now it seems a bit too strict and we have been kinda just playing it by ear. the one thing I do stick to is trying to get all of my work done in the mornings and try to finish early in the week.
Here’s a look at the printable I made, it is nice because we check things off as we go and as we switch kids and we can make little notes too. Typically we are able to stay on the same page, all day long. Shocking, I know.
On weekends we relax, with the exception of church on Sundays (which we have been so bad about lately!) Are you on a strict routine? How do you stay on the same page as your partner?
